It’s another beautiful week in June and it’s the official kick off to summer this week {officially starting today}! We are starting the week off with lovely vintage romance, with a wedding held at Asbury Park Grove , beautiful images captured by: Red K Photography. Melissa and Nick had lots of fun hand-crafted details throughout their wedding from one of WRC favorite sources for all things bridal & creative, Etsy! Starting with her unique silk flower and feather bridal bouquet {a keepsake she has to reflect on of her wedding day forever}, to the paper bridesmaid’s bouquets crafted out of sheet music, from Dana’s Paper Flowers on Etsy. Groom Nick’s boutonierre was also from Dana’s Paper Flowers, crafted from sheet music to a very fitting and meaningful tune,”Sweet Melissa“! At their ceremony, they used an old door turned chalkboard to share their wedding program with guests as they entered the ceremony..genius! Their yellow and blue color palette along with lots of charming vintage details were intertwined throughout their reception, starting with their handcrafted table numbers, to the vintage blue vases adorning books stacked on top of their reception tables, to their charming burlap monogrammed table runner. Their delicious cupcakes were from Polka Dot Bake Shop, with the cute music note hearts on top from The Path Less Traveled {on Etsy}. Melissa’s beautiful gown was from Hayden Olivia Bridal, hair and makeup for Melissa and her bridal party was all done by: Colour by Candace. We adore her vintage, feather hairpiece, from another great Etsy spot: Bella’s Bowtique. Melissa and Nick opted to do a first look before their ceremony, which allowed them to get private time before they exchanged their “I Do’s”, as well as end up enjoying more time to celebrate with family and friends after the ceremony. This is definitely something to consider when creating your wedding day timeline. We love all the unique touches that they included to add to all the fun their friends and family enjoyed with a fun photo booth, and having their guests leaving on sweet note with a colorful candy bar {love the fun vintage candy they selected}. Enjoy this vintage wedding, chocked full of charming details! WRC just loves a {happily ever after}!
